In 2008 it was apparent that Seren needed to change strategic direction, so the task ahead for SLR was to achieve preferred supplier status for the company with all South Wales-based councils. Bringing another of SLR’s business skills into the project facilitated this key change of direction for Seren, and has certainly helped the company to weather the current downturn in the market.
